Here Client’s can also order for any of services provided by the supplier’s. Even if in site-network no supplier is found who is offering such services desired by client it is respective MBPs/CCPs responsibility to deliver the order any-how. In such a scenario respective MBPs/CCPs have to first intimate the client about the price and ask for any other specific information regarding the product if any. Only after confirming the order by the client further processing for the delivery of product will proceed. It means complete dynamic and virtual site required to handle such transactions also.

Here order tracking at each level must be done so as to enable the consumer/client to see the status of his/her order. Profit made by selling product/services to the customer has to be distributed amongst the hierarchy from the current-level to the top level till Head Office in a fixed percentage. The entire Supplier’s/MBPs/CCPs/Client’s will be given an #ID and Password to access their areas. Work of providing #ID to Supplier’s/MBPs and CCPs will be handled by Head Office. Whereas #IDs to Client’s will be given immediately via-internet but will be in effect only after being verified by their area’s CCPs/MBPs. Once a client has been given an #ID he/she can use this #ID for making all the orders in future. After a certain limit of transactions Client’s will be given some percentage of discount on the respective products, which will be reflected in their My Discount Offers Section of On-Line Trading in web-site.

This system has been developed in VB 6.0/MS SQL Server 7.0 and third party tool Seagate's Crystal Report 7.0 for a leading Garment export house based in New Delhi.

The only input is the attendance (incoming and outgoing time) of the labor captured in a DOS based database file. Using OLE-DB architecture SQL server scheduler imports the attendance data into SQL database, manipulates the entire data and generates the relevant MIS reports.

The Client is a software consultancy who has analysed the demand of general package for the Tea-Estate Gardens. Each Garden involved thousands of workers working either on daily wages, temporary or permanent. Their work can be as staff, pluckers and others. Project focuses on the Cost Accounting. All workers working in the sections in the divisions. Each section has the responsibility of plucking in their area. Each plucker getting the wages based on their plucking. All benefits like ration, PF, Loans etc. are available to workers. The costing of leaves plucked and profit is to be analysed for the Sales Promotion.


Bagaan - Selling

The package is a GUI Package developed in Access 97 as a front-end and back-end. This is the Ad-on module to the existing system of Bagaan. The system is designed to facilitate the producer of the Tea to keep track of the Sale. The System is starting from the packing at the Factory. When tea is prepared in Factory, it is packed in Lots/Bags. Each Lots/Bags have their attributes like Lot No, Weight in Kgs, Size, and Grade. Lots are then dispatched to the Party or Sold from the Factory. Thereafter Sale will execute which can be Auction Sale, Account Sale or Local Sale. The Party against Sale makes payment after contracted period. Forms Outstanding Tracking, Payment Due, Payment Adjustment, Unsold Lots, State/City/Grade wise Average Rate, Sale wise Average Rate, all business letters formats and other MIS task are handled by the system.

The different modules in BOAC handle all transaction relating to the business. The transaction involves the sale of filled cylinders, Cylinders on Rental and Refilling of Cylinders. A CRC is prepared for each sale and Rental bill is prepared for the No. of Cylinders lying outstanding with customer. Payment is received from the customer and Sales-Book and Outstanding Amount Due with Customer is analysed.


SIS (Standards Inventory System)

The client is a reseller of books in India. They purchase books from abroad and sell them to the customers in India. The client has books in Office/Stores and Showrooms. Their main focus is to checkout the physical location and available stock of particular book at any time. Books are given to customers either in cash or installments and or either through agent or direct. A bill is generated for each sale. After that Cash Receipt is generated for cash sale and installment form is generated for sale in installments. A godown instruction is prepared for stores to deliver the books that are not available in show rooms. Home-Delivery is another facility that is provided by the client to its customers. In case of home delivery a delivery challan is prepared along with bill and books are sent through VPP, Registered Post, Rail, Roadways or Courier. The client accepts different payment modes i.e. by Cheque/Cash/DD, Advance payment and Balance on Delivery, Installments Scheme etc. and accordingly balance outstanding with each customer is analyzed and collected.

All these tasks are capture in SIS system providing a fast data-entry and printing in DOS-Environment.

(VI) Prepare Short Stock List, Outstanding Orders and Payment Outstanding List.
